About The Position

This role is hands-on and requires physical labor, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the roofing trade. The Lead Roofing Field Service Technician will assist service technicians with roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections, and will be responsible for carrying and organizing tools, materials, and equipment on job sites. The role also involves cleaning and preparing roof surfaces, identifying roof leaks, setting up safety equipment, and ensuring job sites are clean and safe. Effective communication and adherence to safety procedures are crucial.

Requirements

• Previous construction or roofing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. regularly
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to learn roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, shingles, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians with roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections
• Carry and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites
• Clean and prepare roof surfaces before and after repairs
• Help identify roof leaks and problem areas
• Set up ladders, safety equipment, and job site protection
• Remove debris and ensure job sites are clean and safe
• Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites (if qualified)
