About The Position

The Registered nurse performs a variety of patient care activities and works directly with providers to maintain the highest standard practice of care in accordance with state licensure regulations. Will independently provide education for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of Missouri.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Skill in taking vital signs, history, attention to detail.
  • Skill in patient education and instruction.
  • Skill in multi-tasking.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standard.
  • Ability to maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs.
