About The Position

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant in Wilmington, DE. This role acts as an advisor to experienced leadership to develop, influence, and interpret analysis for monitoring and oversight of portfolios, delivering insight and decision strategies with long-term goals for highly complex business analysis and modeling companywide. The position leads the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring strategic, advanced analytical, inductive thinking, and performance monitoring. It involves extracting data to provide statistical and financial modeling companywide, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others. The role also provides vision, direction, and expertise to experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, companywide strategies. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week, but the position requires in-person appearance at the work address. No travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position.
  • Experience with forecasting Delinquency and Loss Forecasting for a lead US Consumer Lending Institution.
  • Working knowledge and proven experience in exploratory Data Analysis and process flow design and optimization.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
  • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, and Python.
  • Working knowledge of CCAR and CECL regulatory framework.
  • Working knowledge of statistical modelling and forecasting techniques, including Linear and Logistic Regression, ARIMA, and exponential smoothening.
  • Working knowledge of data manipulation and visualization.
