Requirements

  • 5+ years of Solution Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, or related customer-facing experience within enterprise SaaS organizations.
  • Strong expertise in Revenue Recognition, ASC 606, IFRS 15, billing, subscription management, and Quote-to-Cash processes.
  • Experience engaging with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, and Technology stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead complex enterprise sales cycles and translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, discovery, communication, and executive-facing consulting skills.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, relational databases, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, CPQ, Billing, Revenue Recognition, or Financial Management systems.
  • Ability to understand both business and technical requirements and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with a consultative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with AI language models, preferably Claude AI.
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Enterprise Sales team to develop account strategy and drive complex enterprise sales opportunities from discovery through close.
  • Lead discovery sessions with finance, accounting, operations, and technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and revenue processes.
  • Effectively configure and present BillingPlatform solutions, with a focus on Revenue Recognition, Billing, and Quote-to-Cash workflows.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects on revenue recognition, billing operations, financial management, and recurring revenue business models.
  • Successfully align BillingPlatform with customer business drivers and clearly differentiate the solution from competitive offerings.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in BillingPlatform’s Revenue Recognition capabilities and configuration framework.
  • Design and articulate end-to-end solution architectures involving CRM, ERP, finance, and operational systems.
  • Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, workshops, RFIs, and RFP responses.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Professional Services, and Engineering to provide customer feedback and influence product direction.
  • Mentor and support other Solution Engineers on complex opportunities and revenue-related solution design.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for the Solutions Engineering organization.
  • Represent BillingPlatform as a subject matter expert at customer meetings, industry events, and executive presentations.
