About The Position

As a Lead Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll take the lead on the floor, support key store operations, and step in when the team needs help, including during busy periods or critical shifts. You’ll help set the tone for the store by modeling great customer service, supporting teammates, and helping provide a positive experience for every customer. This full-time role is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older to apply.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
• Have a flexible schedule; the 24/7 stores may require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Hold a Food Handler Permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Be able to perform the physical activities described in the posting, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Model and reinforce Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service and help Team Members deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Support team members and customers and provide leadership on the floor.
• Keep the store stocked, organized, and ready for customers.
• Manage inventory, handle cash, complete shift checkout, and complete required reporting.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
