About The Position
The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) located at the Los Angeles, CA VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Lead Retail Sales Associate to provide quality service to our nation's veterans. The Lead Retail Sales Associate has responsibility for control of retail sales operations in the Canteen Service under the general instructions of the Canteen Chief.

Responsibilities
- Assists customer in locating products and provides detailed information to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assists in receiving, inspecting, counting and weighing incoming merchandise deliveries.
- Restocks merchandise and ensures products are properly labeled for display.
- Maintains a clean & organized store environment, ensuring a pleasant & efficient shopping experience.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lead RSA staff with enthusiasm.
- Learning to cover all the different stations as needed to endure a smooth-running department and cover breaks when needed.
