Lead Respiratory Therapist (Contract)

Crosswalk Health, Inc.•Houston, TX
•$245 - $300

About The Position

The Lead Respiratory Therapist, referred to in the description as the Regional Lead, is an experienced Respiratory Therapist and the primary operational contact for an assigned region. This working leadership role combines scheduled spirometry services with RT scheduling, coverage coordination, clinic relationship management, and day-to-day operational support. The role aims to ensure reliable clinic coverage, strong communication, and consistent service for clinic partners and patients. The Regional Lead independently resolves routine operational issues, including scheduling adjustments, call-out coverage, routine clinic communication, and coordination with available float RTs. Hiring and termination decisions, formal discipline, payroll, compensation, contract negotiations, major client escalations, and HR matters remain with Operations leadership; significant or unresolved issues should be escalated promptly. Success includes dependable clinic coverage, timely resolution of routine issues, strong relationships with RTs and clinic partners, proactive communication about regional concerns, consistent clinical quality, and minimal need for day-to-day intervention from Operations. Compensation includes a recommended starting leadership stipend of $750 bi-weekly, in addition to the established daily rate of $245–$300 for clinical spirometry service. Stipends may vary based on the size and complexity of the assigned region, including clinics, RTs, scheduled clinic days, customers, and operational workload.
