Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow, delegate assignments, monitor task progress, and ensure team adherence to hospital policies and regulatory procedures.
• Perform full Respiratory Therapist duties following age-specific guidelines, while providing rapid initial response in emergency situations.
• Serve as a technical and functional resource, leading the orientation, hands-on training, and skill development of assigned team members.
• Provide valuable input for staff performance evaluations while consistently maintaining required annual mandatory competencies.
