About The Position

The Residential Roofing Foreman is responsible for overseeing and leading a roofing crew on residential projects. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards and manufacturer specifications. The Foreman acts as the on-site leader, trainer, and primary point of communication between the crew, project management, and homeowners.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading roofing crews
• Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems and installation techniques
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures, including fall protection
• Ability to manage materials and equipment effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to train and mentor crew members

Nice To Haves

• Experience with various roofing manufacturers' specifications
• Leadership experience in the roofing industry for over 70 years

Responsibilities

• Lead & supervise residential roofing crews, assign tasks, and maintain productivity
• Oversee installations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specifications
• Ensure quality control by inspecting work and correcting issues as needed
• Enforce safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE and fall protection
• Communicate with management, crew, and homeowners on job progress and issues
• Manage materials & equipment to minimize waste and keep jobs running efficiently
