About The Position

R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Lead Residential HVAC Technician. This role is for a skilled Residential HVAC Technician who is looking for an established and respected company to grow their career with. As a Residential HVAC Technician, you will earn a competitive wage of up to $40/hour, depending on experience. Plus, we offer a $300 sign-on bonus! Requirements

• 4+ years of HVAC field experience
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Understanding refrigeration cycles
• Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
• Service-oriented
• Ability to establish a good rapport with people
• Respectful of others and their personal property
• Punctual and reliable
• Takes pride in work

Responsibilities

• Removing old HVAC systems
• Installing new HVAC systems
• Performing routine maintenance
• Training junior team members
• Communicating with clients and customers
• Ordering and maintaining equipment
• Running pipe and duct systems through homes
