About The Position
Busby's is seeking an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Installer to lead installation projects from start to finish. This role involves coaching and mentoring other installers, ensuring safe and efficient installations that meet code, and performing system startups and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor others
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, duct design, airflow, and system startup procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service

- ServiceTitan experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
- Coach and mentor installers while setting the standard for quality workmanship
- Complete installations safely, efficiently, and to code
- Perform system startups, precision charging, and performance testing
- Install ductwork, line sets, line hide, and low/high-voltage wiring
- Troubleshoot installation issues independently
- Maintain accurate job documentation and collect on-site payments
- Plan materials effectively and complete jobs with minimal material shortages
- Deliver clean, professional, showroom-quality installations that exceed customer expectations
