About The Position

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Lead Reimbursement Specialist position in our Patient Financial Services department. The Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for the insurance billing process for the hospital and clinics. Qualified candidates need to demonstrate the ability to work closely and effectively with all hospital departments, clinics, insurance companies, federal agencies and third party payers to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment of all claims.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and other office equipment required.
Basic computer skills, data entry.
Ability to work independently, prioritize and communicate with other departments, including clinics, ensuring the most effective Revenue Cycle process.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of relevant experience in medical collections or professional billing preferred.
