Lead Reel Verifier - 1st shift
About The Position
Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Lead Reel Verifier - 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area. This position assists the Supervisor in organizing and directing workflow through the Reeling/Box Pack Department in a timely and efficient manner. The role requires training on all packaging methods (Skin Pack, Box Pack & Universal Reelers), Pre-Ship Inspection and various other operations as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Keen eye for detail.
- Be able to measure using ruler and/or calipers.
- Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Responsibilities
- Verify label and ticket information are correct on all reeled/box packed orders before sending to FGS warehouse.
- Provide necessary packaging materials.
- Organize daily workflow throughout the reeling/box pack area to maximize efficiency of the area and ensure on-time delivery.
- Fills in at various Packaging methods as needed.
- Learn computer program for Pre-ship, barcoding and labeling.
- Learn basic skills on Paradox program.
- Assumes the ability to operate machinery and equipment and read and interpret specifications.
