About The Position
Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Lead Reel Verifier - 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Keen eye for detail.
- Be able to measure using ruler and/or calipers.
- Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Nice To Haves
- Trained on all packaging methods (Skin Pack, Box Pack & Universal Reelers), Pre-Ship Inspection and various other operations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Verify label and ticket information are correct on all reeled/box packed orders before sending to FGS warehouse.
- Provide necessary packaging materials.
- Organize daily workflow throughout the reeling/box pack area to maximize efficiency of the area and ensure on-time delivery.
- Fills in at various Packaging methods as needed.
- Learn computer program for Pre-ship, barcoding and labeling.
- Learn basic skills on Paradox program.
- Assumes the ability to operate machinery and equipment and read and interpret specifications.
