About The Position

Requirements

  • Previous Inspection or Supply Chain experience in an Engine MRO shop.
  • Experience using Quantum Controls ERP.
  • Strong understanding of part traceability and documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 145 / EASA regulations
  • Experience working with suppliers and driving issue resolution.
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize daily activities of Receiving Inspectors, including workload distribution, coverage, and overtime planning.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Planning, Quality) to ensure consistent parts flow and support production needs.
  • Provide support to Receiving Inspectors on inspections, transactions, and decision-making.
  • Inspect and review incoming material issues to ensure conformance to specifications, documentation, and traceability requirements.
  • Log, track, and resolve quality and documentation discrepancies for incoming orders.
  • Manage quarantined or non-conforming parts, including proper segregation, tracking, and disposition in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Supply Chain and/or vendors to resolve quality issues, missing documentation, and shipment discrepancies.
  • Capture, track, and report supplier quality metrics, including defects, documentation compliance, and partner with Supply Chain, Quality, and Compliance to address supplier performance concerns.
  • Work with Quality to ensure timely resolution of supplier corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Handle any additional tasks as requested.
