About The Position

This is a full-time, day shift position for a Lead Radiology Technologist at our Medical Center in Portland, OR. Requirements

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Responsibilities

Monitors and assists with direction of technical operation of a high volume and fast paced Radiology section of Diagnostic Imaging.
Assumes direct control of specific areas within Radiology as assigned.
Oversees workflow coordination and monitors daily radiology department schedule to assure proper tech and patient scheduling for smooth exam workflow.
Schedules in-patient exams in a timely fashion to meet patient needs.
Assists with staff training.
Addresses equipment and safety concerns.
Coordinates and collaborates with multiple departments within the facility.
Performs radiographic procedures as needed to the high standards of the facility.
