Lead Quoting Analyst

Guidehouse•San Antonio, TX

About The Position

The Lead Quoting Analyst performs complex, unusual, and exception-based balance statement and payoff quoting work while serving as the first functional escalation point for calculation, procedural, documentation, and routing questions. The role coordinates daily queue coverage, work prioritization, and workflow balancing in alignment with management direction, and supports advanced requests involving multiple loans, corrections, foreclosure, refinance, property sales, borrower payoffs, and special exceptions within authorized scope. The position conducts authorized quality and completeness reviews, provides corrective guidance, and supports employee onboarding, training, knowledge transfer, refresher instruction, and practical job-aid maintenance. It provides day-to-day functional guidance to quoting analysts while continuing hands-on production work. The analyst monitors recurring questions, errors, rework, and workflow challenges and recommends improvements to procedures, templates, controls, or routing. The role also prepares operational updates on queue conditions, aging work, blockers, emerging risks, and support needs; coordinates with management on issues requiring policy interpretation, client direction, staffing decisions, or formal authority; and ensures corrective issues are documented, routed, and escalated. Confidential borrower, financial, and account information must be protected.
