Requirements

  • Minimum High School Degree
  • Must have working knowledge of various weights and measures
  • Working knowledge of dimensional inspection gauges
  • SAP experience
  • Laboratory experience
  • Must possess ability to perform math computations of manufacturer’s specifications
  • Ability to stand 8-12 hours
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language as pertaining to job-related responsibilities
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of progressive QA experience

Responsibilities

  • Be a quality presence throughout the shift on the production floor to provide support and follow up on any pending
  • Actively participate in investigations and corrective actions related to produced items, documenting those activities as required and keeping site management informed on activities to eliminate future non-conformance.
  • Initiate, coordinate and execute quality holds when product quality issues arise.
  • Initiate SCARs to address and prevent the recurrence of issues when defective products are
  • Collaborate with R&D team to investigate and find solutions related to issues with product
  • Assist the Quality Manager in procurement of lab materials and supplies, management of laboratory and chemical inventories in order to meet quality system, customer and industry standards.
  • Assist in managing the retain
  • Perform and document laboratory testing related to research and development as
  • Participate in site ISR and inspection plan reviews and when appropriate inspection plan creation and quality signoffs in ISR
  • Perform incoming, lab and production inspections for the
  • Update and maintain SAP QM section as needed for inspections and certificates of
  • Represent the Company in meetings with customers and vendors in the discussions involving quality-related
  • Ensure proper documentation of all quality related functions such as non-conformance, customer complaints, inspections, audits, etc.
  • Cross-shift collaboration via comprehensive shift change notes indicating ongoing issues, items on hold and pending
  • Perform and support regular, systematic line
  • Provide details of quality findings and actions during
  • Support company policies, rules, procedures and safety
  • Other duties as required
