About The Position

The Lead Quality Assurance Inspector will hold preshift meetings with inspectors, confirm all lines are covered by inspectors, and cover any emails sent to the group. This role is responsible for ensuring the handoff of issues from shift to shift, covering inspector lines during breaks and lunches, and working with leadership to determine Root Cause and Corrective Actions for issues. The Lead QA Inspector will also verify the training of new inspectors, review and approve customer samples, and work with printing leadership and rework to contain all defects. Additional duties include performing skid checks, applying LPN labels, investigating missing labels on boxes, and performing various checks on printed items such as UPC Scans, Visual Inspection, Tape Testing, IPA Testing, and Sutherland Rub. This role also involves entering Containment’s, containing defects, placing suspect product on hold, and scanning pictures of defects and Traceback forms to Containment. The Lead QA Inspector will challenge metal detectors and skid scanners, investigate and clear alarms, and investigate No Reads (missing labels, ripped/wrinkled labels). Furthermore, this position involves training inspectors on procedures for new products or test methods, maintaining, documenting, and performing special testing on products specified by customers, helping to pull micro samples, and assisting in preparing the Airport Warehouse (AW) for audits (IMS, Customer, ISO, and SQF).

Responsibilities
