Requirements

  • Electrical, Contractor and/or distribution experience preferred, but not required
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.; or
  • 1 - 3 years of related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in warehouse environment, if needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all put away tasks by leading the team.
  • Ensure all dock stock is completed within 12 hours.
  • Maintain a location accuracy of 99.80% or higher.
  • Coach and drive team performance.
  • Ensure all materials are put away correctly, both physically and systemically.
  • Set up primary locations for products as directed by the DC manager.
  • Assemble teams for reprofile projects.
  • Assist in pulling tasks.
  • Ensure the proper and safe use of MHE machines during shifts.
  • Train new team members on processes, products, safety, housekeeping, and RF put away functions.
  • Be available to assist team members with any questions or concerns regarding their duties.
  • Lead by example by maintaining punctuality and good attendance.
  • Communicate daily with the supervisor about workflow, team performance, and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the receiving lead and address any issues impacting put away, including returning unreceived products to inbound docks.
  • Ensure proper training of temporary staff or new employees on processes and RF navigation.
  • Elevate issues to a supervisor or manager, when necessary, especially disciplinary matters.
  • Conduct daily huddles with the team.
  • Distribute and collect all RF equipment.
