About The Position

OpenLoop is hiring a Lead Program Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for their Medical Weight Loss program. This role is accountable for the success of the Medical Weight Loss program, defining and executing its roadmap. The Medical Weight Loss program is strategically important and operationally complex, requiring the Lead Program Manager to navigate a rapidly evolving landscape of clinical guidelines, formulary dynamics, regulatory posture, and client expectations. The individual will set the program's direction, align various departments (Clinical, Product, Engineering, Pharmacy, RCM, Implementation, Marketing, and Client Success), and report on outcomes to the executive team. This role is currently focused on a single program, with potential for expansion as the company's program portfolio grows. The Lead Program Manager will guide the work of supporting Program Managers and serve as an executive escalation point for client-related issues.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience owning programs, products, or operating units in healthcare, digital health, health tech, or closely adjacent fields.
  • At least 3 years setting strategy and owning a roadmap end-to-end.
  • Direct experience with medical weight loss or closely adjacent care models.
  • Ability to quickly build deep fluency in GLP-1 therapies, clinical eligibility criteria, formulary dynamics, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Track record of strategy ownership, not just execution.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong commercial and analytical instincts.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Experience building structure in fast-moving environments while maintaining documentation, protocols, and clinical/operational rigor.
  • Strong compliance instinct with rigorous attention to clinical, regulatory, and data-security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and define the multi-quarter roadmap for Medical Weight Loss, including key metrics, strategic bets, and sequencing.
  • Ensure that what is being built aligns with the strategic plan, escalating or re-scoping when necessary.
  • Set program-level operating goals, translating company OKRs into targets for clinical quality, patient outcomes, client retention, unit economics, and growth velocity.
  • Make build/buy/partner decisions with data-driven recommendations.
  • Align Clinical, Product, Engineering, Pharmacy, RCM, Implementation, Marketing, and Client Success teams behind the program's direction.
  • Own the program narrative for senior leadership, conducting program reviews and translating complex dynamics into clear decisions.
  • Guide and prioritize the work of Program Managers supporting the program.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for major client questions and program-level commitments.
  • Synthesize client feedback, regulatory changes, and competitor activities into roadmap decisions.
  • Drive program-level commercial outcomes by partnering with Commercial and Client Success teams to ensure the program is sellable, expandable, and retainable.
