About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Lead Production. This position will be responsible for directing the safe and efficient operation of department, performing simple production operations. This position will also monitor and drive plant performance indicators and align priorities with production demand. This will be a weekend shift position: Friday – Sunday 5:00am – 5:00pm.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience in tube mill and or roll forming process functions
• 1 to 3 years involved with mill setups and manufacturing processes
• Able to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges
• Able to efficiently meet negotiated timeframes to support customer demands in a simplified, organized, and effective manner
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities
• Experience with special measuring devices, micrometer, calipers and tape measures
• Experience managing and leading 10 + employees at a time
• Basic math and mechanical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate and understand terminology of the job
• Ability to follow and adhere to the dress code
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

• Lean training is a plus
