About The Position

This role is responsible for leading a team of operators and single serve team members during the 3rd shift. Key responsibilities include conducting daily team meetings, collecting and reporting production data, ensuring machines operate at peak performance, and managing downtime and machinery adjustments. The Lead Production Operator also plays a crucial role in maintaining communication with material handlers, assisting with breaks, and stepping in as the shift leader in the supervisor's absence. Continuous learning and improvement of equipment performance and efficiency are also key aspects of this position.

• Microsoft Office Experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily team meetings with Operators and Single Serve Team Members
• Collect data for Single Serve shift reporting at the beginning and end of every shift
• Ensure Machines are running at peak performance during shift and effectively reporting issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians
• Ensure all recorded information of downtime and machinery adjustments are turned in to Supervisor and shared with Maintenance Technicians
• Responsible for continuing education on all pieces of equipment when opportunities present themselves
• Assist with breaks and lunches to ensure machines are running at peak performance for the full production shift
• Ensure full communication with Material Handlers to have proper raw materials at each machine and removal of non-used materials away from the machines
• If Supervisor is away or on vacation this role becomes the Leader of the shift to ensure that all operations run smoothly
