About The Position

The Lead Product Manager (Pod Lead) owns the execution and success of a cross-functional Pod, translating company strategy into business outcomes. This is not a traditional Product Management or people-management role; the Pod Lead operates like the general manager of a small startup within inKind by setting priorities, making decisions, removing obstacles, and enabling the team to build, experiment, and deliver. The role works closely with the CEO and executive leadership, with autonomy to drive execution, challenge assumptions, and focus the Pod on the highest-priority work. Success is measured by the impact the Pod creates rather than by the volume of work shipped. The Pod Lead turns company priorities into objectives, plans, and measurable outcomes; identifies opportunities across Product, Growth, AI, and business operations; and balances speed, quality, customer experience, and commercial impact. They own Pod prioritization and delivery cadence, lead planning and team routines, manage dependencies, and help the Pod launch, learn, and deliver results. The role also involves building a collaborative, accountable team; working across business functions and Pods; and communicating Pod performance, priorities, risks, trade-offs, insights, and recommendations to leadership. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and is in person. The Lead Product Manager reports to a role or person listed as “TBC.” inKind describes itself as a company combining fintech, technology, and hospitality to provide restaurants with growth capital and customer acquisition solutions and help diners discover restaurants.
