About The Position

InPost is seeking a Lead Product Manager to take ownership of the merchant experience on Von Halsky, InPost's marketplace. This role involves leading a small Product Management team focused on creating the easiest possible experience for merchants to list offers, set pricing, and fulfill orders. The Lead Product Manager will provide a coherent product direction for the merchant side of the marketplace and elevate the team's standards for product development. Key product areas include merchant onboarding and verification, catalog and listing, pricing and offer mechanics, order and fulfillment flows, payouts and settlement, and seller performance tooling. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring direct involvement in data analysis, merchant interactions, and writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management with demonstrated ownership of product area outcomes.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and developing Product Managers (formal or informal leadership).
  • Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or B2B/merchant-facing products, including an understanding of two-sided dynamics.
  • A proven track record of shipping products, including the ability to discuss launched products, their impact on metrics, and lessons learned from failures.
  • Fluency with product analytics.
  • Specific experience in product discovery, including methodology for selecting participants, learning extraction, and decision-making.
  • Practical AI fluency (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in personal work and the judgment to validate AI-generated output.
  • Ability to advocate for a position with senior stakeholders based on evidence and adapt when evidence changes.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to enterprise systems for billing, settlement, ERP, and finance.
  • Experience where product management was closely aligned with commercial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the merchant-side product vision, KPIs, and roadmap.
  • Lead and develop a team of 3-5 Product Managers, focusing on priorities, feedback, development, and performance.
  • Foster a culture of product craft, emphasizing real discovery, hypothesis-driven development, defined success metrics before launch, and post-launch analysis.
  • Ensure the team ships improvements in weeks, not quarters, by sequencing work effectively.
  • Partner directly with Engineering Managers on architecture, capacity, and sequencing.
  • Integrate AI into the team's workflow for discovery, analysis, and prototyping, and identify AI opportunities within the merchant product itself.
  • Act as an escalation point to resolve cross-functional roadblocks.
  • Represent the merchant product credibly to senior stakeholders.
