Lead Product Engineer (Global Security)
About The Position
This role focuses on defining and owning the AppSec roadmap for DevSecOps and Security Controls, prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable value to development teams. The Lead Product Engineer will partner with product management to champion usability, quality, and technical debt reduction, and build strategic relationships with application development executives and vendors. A key aspect of the role is driving AI adoption in the workplace and establishing security guardrails for AI tools. The position involves tracking KPIs, managing costs, ensuring ROI, and reducing unit delivery costs. Additionally, the role includes prototyping new features, strengthening developer education, enhancing the AppSec learning culture, and fostering adoption through communities. End-to-end release management, including planning, documentation, and execution, is also a core responsibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years AppSec Engineering experience with tools like Github, JFrog Artifactory, Snyk, Aqua; Docker & Kubernetes expertise
- Full-stack development (JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python or similar)
- API delivery, Data Management, and/or Business Analytics experience
- Agile Product Management in technology environments
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- AI Agent Frameworks and Langchain experience
- Understanding of AI-driven operational efficiency, CI/CD enhancement, and working with models/MCP servers
- DevOps proficiency (Git, Artifactory, Docker/K8s)
- Exceptional communication skills bridging technical and business audiences
- Collaborative problem-solver with passion for user experience and data quality
Nice To Haves
- Elastic (ELK) and Azure Databricks experience
- RAG-based applications and agentic AI workflows; LLM/GenAI research background

- Innovate & Educate – Prototype new features, strengthen developer education, and enhance AppSec learning culture
- Engage Communities – Foster adoption through meetups, steering groups, and user communities
- Manage Releases – Own end-to-end release management including planning, documentation, and execution
