About The Position

Join Ladder’s mission to redefine strength training and help millions get stronger with our top-ranked iOS app. Ladder is the #1 iOS strength & conditioning app, delivering custom weekly workout plans with in-workout coaching, progress tracking, and a tight-knit fitness community. We are growing rapidly with $60M ARR and a 4.9-star rating on our iOS app, which was an Apple App of the Year finalist. As we scale, we're looking to bring on a Product Design leader to craft an experience that raises the bar for what people can expect from an app and transforms millions of people's relationship with fitness. This role is remote-friendly (US time zones) with HQ in Austin, TX.

Requirements

5+ years as a UI/UX or Product Designer at consumer-focused companies
Portfolio showcasing shipped products that drove meaningful business results
Experience with user research, prototyping, UI/UX design, and usability testing

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end user experience for your product area, from discovery to launch
Design beautiful, intuitive interfaces that delight and drive results
Turn complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
Set and uphold the highest standards for usability and visual design
Lead user research to uncover real needs and pain points
Rapidly prototype and test concepts with real users
Analyze usage and feedback to inform design decisions and iterate
Work closely with product managers to align design with business goals
Partner with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
Champion design thinking across the organization
