As we scale, we're looking to bring on a Product Design leader to join our team. Product Design at Ladder means crafting an experience that raises the bar for what people can expect from an app, and transforming millions of people's relationship with fitness. Requirements

  • 5+ years as a UI/UX or Product Designer at consumer-focused companies
  • Portfolio showcasing shipped products that drove meaningful business results
  • Experience with user research, prototyping, UI/UX design, and usability testing
  • Startup experience preferred - you thrive in fast-paced, high-agency environments
  • Member obsessed - you lose sleep over anything less than 5-star reviews
  • Design-driven intuition - strong gut backed by user feedback and data
  • Relentless simplification - you cut clutter, sweat the pixels, and fight for clarity
  • High agency - you don't wait for permission to solve problems

Nice To Haves

  • Fitness/wellness industry experience or passion
  • iOS app design background
  • Experience designing for growth and engagement

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end user experience for your product area, from discovery to launch
  • Design beautiful, intuitive interfaces that delight and drive results
  • Turn complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
  • Set and uphold the highest standards for usability and visual design
  • Lead user research to uncover real needs and pain points
  • Rapidly prototype and test concepts with real users
  • Analyze usage and feedback to inform design decisions and iterate
  • Work closely with product managers to align design with business goals
  • Partner with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
  • Champion design thinking across the organization
  • Move fast without sacrificing quality
