Requirements

  • University degree in advertising, creative arts, media, film, television, or a related discipline
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a producer or video post-producer in an agency
  • Very good technical knowledge of production and post-production (shooting, 2D or 3D animation production, visual effects, image composition, colorization, etc.)
  • Understanding and use of new technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence)
  • Very good knowledge of UDA/ACTRA agreements
  • Good knowledge of the Google Suite
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Attends various meetings related to the account (Leadership Circle, Project Post-Mortems, Agency/Client Evaluations, Financial Monitoring, internal meetings, client presentations, etc.)
  • Acts as guardian of the brand and client issues to offer informed production advice
  • Takes an interest in and deepens their knowledge of the assigned account
  • Understands the client's MSAs (Master Service Agreements)
  • Present at and supervises the start of projects for their smooth execution (Creative briefs, first internals, etc.)
  • Supervises the work of coordinators and producers assigned to projects
  • Acts as a mentor to production teams regarding account-related projects
  • Ensures the necessary personnel or expertise is available to complete client projects
  • Manages and maintains visibility on administrative reports and account profitability (Monitoring, budget reconciliations, completion reports, etc.)
  • Takes various initiatives to lead high-level client projects or workshops
  • Works directly with the client
  • Possesses multidisciplinary production and management skills
  • Collaborates with creative teams to elevate the creative product by proposing ideas, production solutions, and relevant references
  • Evaluates preliminary ideas and defines deliverables
  • Prepares budgets and schedules
  • Recommends, researches, and negotiates with the best potential partners (various suppliers, freelancers, talents, internal resources)
  • Manages productions with internal artisans
  • Ensures the evolution and follow-up of certain projects daily throughout the process
  • Ensures all necessary legal approvals are obtained according to the projects (legal checks, exclusivity contracts, spokespeople, copyrights, etc.)
  • Ensures follow-up on project closing and final invoicing, including archiving and production notes.
