About The Position

The Lead Principal Technical Program Manager for data center server operations partners with senior management, engineering, product, operations, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to lead complex, high-impact technical programs that improve how OCI supports global data center infrastructure. This role establishes program scope, milestones, execution plans, governance mechanisms, and success metrics for programs that improve server operations, hardware support workflows, technician productivity, operational visibility, automation, and service reliability. The TPM will help drive the modernization of operational platforms that support task execution, inventory coordination, guided procedures, analytics, workflow automation, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement. As a senior individual contributor, this role operates independently across large, ambiguous, and strategically important initiatives. The TPM will translate broad organizational priorities into structured programs, align stakeholders across multiple teams, identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, drive execution, and ensure successful delivery of products and services that support OCI’s continued growth. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to engineering and operational leaders, bringing structure to ambiguity and clarity to complex cross-functional work. They will drive disciplined execution, improve program mechanisms, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and ensure programs deliver measurable outcomes for customers, users, and the business. This role is ideal for a senior TPM with experience leading cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, internal platforms, data center operations, workflow automation, analytics, or large-scale technical programs. The ideal candidate combines technical depth, strong judgment, written communication, operational rigor, and the ability to influence across teams without.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in technical program management, business program management, project management, engineering program leadership, infrastructure operations, or a related role leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, cross-organizational technical programs from strategy and planning through execution, launch, adoption, and measurement.
  • Experience partnering with engineering, product, operations, analytics, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to drive alignment, resolve dependencies, and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Experience managing program risks, dependencies, executive escalations, competing priorities, resource constraints, and ambiguous requirements in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using metrics, dashboards, reporting, and operational data to guide decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting program status, risks, decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs supporting data center server operations, software platforms, workflow automation, analytics, and operational tooling.
  • Define program scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resource requirements, risks, launch plans, and success criteria aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Partner with engineering, product management, operations, analytics, infrastructure teams, support organizations, security, compliance, and senior leadership to align priorities and deliver high-impact programs.
  • Drive execution across programs that improve task management, guided workflows, technician experiences, inventory coordination, operational analytics, automation, and service readiness.
  • Establish program governance, delivery mechanisms, operating cadences, KPIs, service level expectations, roadmap reviews, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical program, operational, integration, security, and delivery issues, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, ownership gaps, and execution blockers early; develop mitigation plans and drive clear accountability across teams.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture leaders to ensure solutions are designed for scalability, reliability, security, observability, supportability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Lead launch readiness for pilot, phased rollout, and general availability milestones, including test planning, dependency readiness, operational reviews, adoption planning, and post-launch measurement.
  • Use data, metrics, dashboards, reporting, and stakeholder feedback to assess program health, identify trends, support decision-making, and improve outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program execution, operational processes, planning mechanisms, communication practices, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Develop written narratives, executive updates, roadmap reviews, decision documents, risk summaries, and program plans that clearly communicate status, trade-offs, asks, and recommendations.
  • Support adoption and change management for new platforms, workflows, analytics capabilities, operating mechanisms, and process improvements.
  • Mentor program managers and cross-functional partners by raising the bar for planning, execution discipline, stakeholder management, written communication, and operational excellence.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by bringing structure to ambiguity, surfacing decisions needed, and driving alignment across complex technical and operational programs.
