About The Position

Mission Montessori School is seeking a Lead Primary Teacher in San Francisco, California. The teacher will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following Montessori pedagogy, plan engaging activities that promote children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. The role also involves helping lead learning activities, ensuring children’s safety and well-being, monitoring their development, and creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers.

The starting pay is $32.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. The position includes a $3,000 hiring bonus paid in two installments: $1,500 at three months and $1,500 at six months. Employees must be in good standing to receive the payouts. Requirements

• Montessori training and certificate.
• Two to five years of experience; the posting describes this as required/preferred.
• 12 ECE units and a college degree.
• Experience working with children ages 3–6.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
• Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education.
