About The Position

Mission Montessori School in San Francisco, California, is hiring a Lead Primary Teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following Montessori pedagogy. The teacher plans engaging activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development and monitors and documents student progress. The role also involves creating a harmonious learning environment and ensuring children’s safety and well-being. The position offers an hourly pay range of $32.00–$35.00, depending on education and experience, and a $3,000 hiring bonus paid in two installments of $1,500 at three and six months. Employees must be in good standing to receive the bonus. Mission Montessori is part of Endeavor Schools, which operates more than 100 schools in 14 states.

Requirements

Lead Teacher Montessori training and certificate.
12 ECE units and a college degree.
Experience working with children ages 3–6.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education.
Willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy.
2–5 years of experience is stated as required/preferred.
