About The Position

The Lead Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Breast & Skeletal Health Solutions (BSHS) Finance team, responsible for pricing reporting, revenue analytics, and pricing governance across the product portfolio. In partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership, this role develops and maintains actionable pricing and revenue insights that support profitable growth and informed commercial decision‑making. This role leads the creation and enhancement of pricing and revenue reporting, evaluates the impact of pricing strategies, promotions, and incentives, and supports forecasting and budgeting processes. The Pricing Lead Analyst also provides data‑driven analysis of product and segment performance, identifies opportunities to improve ASP, mix, and margin, and helps strengthen pricing processes and governance across the division. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the role serves as a key thought partner to Finance and cross‑functional leaders, translating complex pricing and revenue data into clear insights that guide strategic and operational decisions. This role is based at Hologic’s Marlborough, MA headquarters and requires on-site presence four days per week.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of pricing mechanics including ASP, discounting, gross‑to‑net, and margin analysis.
  • Knowledge of revenue and financial performance drivers including price, volume, mix, and product lifecycle dynamics.
  • Familiarity with pricing structures in healthcare or med tech environments, including contracts, tenders, capital equipment, and consumables.
  • Understanding of financial statements and how pricing decisions impact revenue, margin, and overall P&L performance.
  • Knowledge of pricing analytics methodologies and reporting best practices.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, QlikSense, or similar platforms.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support pricing and revenue decision‑making.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses in a concise, business‑focused manner.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Operates effectively in ambiguous and fast‑paced environments, demonstrating initiative and ownership.
  • Action‑oriented and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve pricing performance and reporting processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or a related analytical finance role.
  • Direct experience in healthcare, med tech, or medical devices preferred, including familiarity with industry pricing dynamics.
  • Prior experience in pricing analytics, deal desk, revenue management, or commercial finance with significant pricing exposure strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategy, and commercial performance analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and tools such as ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and planning systems (e.g., Hyperion) is a plus.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
