About The Position

The Lead Preschool Teacher works at The Learning Experience’s early childhood academic childcare center in Rohnert Park, California. The center provides joyful, engaging early education for children from infancy through preschool, using hands-on learning activities and a curriculum focused on six ages and stages of early childhood development. Teachers support children as they learn, play, grow, explore, and solve problems at their own pace. The Lead Teacher plans and leads age-appropriate lessons and activities, maintains clean, safe, and organized classrooms, monitors children’s growth and developmental milestones, and communicates with families through daily updates on a mobile app. The teacher also collaborates with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment. The posted pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
