Lead Pre-K Teacher
About The Position
Early Advantage Developmental Child Care Center is hiring a full-time Lead Pre-K Teacher to lead a classroom with structure, intention, and professionalism, supported by systems designed to help the teacher succeed. This hands-on leadership role involves active engagement with children and setting the tone for the classroom each day. The teacher will build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues and contribute to a safe, supportive, inclusive, and enriching early education environment. The center emphasizes family partnerships, children's holistic development, lifelong learning, continuous growth, and positive relationships.
Requirements
- Meet Minnesota Lead Teacher requirements.
- Ability to lead, communicate clearly, and manage a structured classroom.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom experience is preferred.
- A strong understanding of child development and curriculum, or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the team.
- Maintain high standards for safety, supervision, and classroom organization.
- Track and assess children's development and communicate with families.
- Actively engage in the classroom and set a positive tone each day.
