About The Position

NorthCoast Asset Management is seeking a Lead Portfolio Manager - Option Strategies to join their team in Stamford, CT. This role focuses on trade execution, involving building, executing, and allocating trades across a large number of client accounts. The position also includes responsibilities such as researching and resolving trade breaks, reviewing client restrictions, maintaining trade execution data for TCA analysis, and compiling performance results. A key aspect of this role is the development and maintenance of automation processes using Visual Basic and/or Python for the operations and trading teams. The candidate will also cross-train with the operations group, performing tasks like reconciling portfolio data, resolving cash inquiries, and addressing failing transactions with custodians and counterparties. This position requires a full-time presence in the Stamford office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
High attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Intermediary + knowledge of Microsoft products especially Excel
Proactive communication and follow-up

Responsibilities

Building, executing and allocating trades across 7,000+ client accounts
Researching and resolving trade and position breaks with executing brokers
Reviewing client specific restrictions
Maintaining trade execution data for TCA analysis and compiling and maintaining all performance results for composites.
Maintain and develop automation processes for the operations and trading teams using Visual Basic and/or Python.
Reconcile client’s portfolio data
Research and resolve any cash related inquiries
Resolve failing transactions with custodians and counterparties
