About The Position

The Polysomnographic Technologist, Team Lead is responsible for all technical activities and staff action during patient hookup, to monitor, to provide intervention, and take down. The Technologist will also work in the Prattville Sleep Center as needed. Additionally, the Team Lead will act as Supervisor in the absence of the Manager. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Active Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required (or obtained within 6 months).
• BLS required.
• Must have an intermediate understanding of electronics as related to EEG and polysomnographic equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understanding and sensitivity for patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Excellent computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Basic and/or advanced polysomnography courses desired.
• Prefer proficiency in the principles of polysomnography and electroencephalography.
• ACLS preferred.
