About The Position

The Lead Physician Navigator assists in the training and management of the business development team, including Clinical Navigators, Physician Navigators, and other directed individuals. This role provides marketing support for sales presentations at various hospitals and clinics. The Lead Physician Navigator cultivates referral relationships, manages an assigned territory, makes sales contacts, and analyzes referral and admission data. Collaboration with the business development team, admissions staff, and internal/external staff is key to facilitating referral conversion. The position also involves providing feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral and admission process, and patient/referral source satisfaction. Maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including prospective patients, families, physicians, nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives, is crucial.

Requirements

  • License in nursing, therapy, or social work, or significant healthcare experience in marketing.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in healthcare marketing.
  • Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred.

Responsibilities
