Lead Pharmacy Technician

About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Lead reports to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and provides expertise and education on departmental policies and procedures. This role involves training, educating, and directing technician staff, acting as a supervisor extender. The Lead ensures consistent communication across all CHC pharmacy locations and supports the leadership team with reporting and quality initiatives. In addition to these lead duties, the individual will also work as a pharmacy technician.
Requirements
- Michigan Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- Retail pharmacy or Infusion pharmacy experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Oncology and management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create training modules and competencies based on CHC policies and procedures for technician staff.
- Complete and monitor required reports on specific frequencies.
- Monitor staff while working and provides redirection in procedures as needed and ensures excellent customer service.
- Help ensure correct inventory control.
- All other duties as assigned.
