About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring a Lead Pharmacy Technician at a behavioral health hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a full-time weekday position supporting daily pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting. The hospital serves adolescent and adult patients. Training will be provided for the HCS pharmacy system, and while experience with Omnicell automation is preferred, training is also available. The role involves a two-day hospital orientation and pharmacy training provided by the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license required
- Inpatient hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
- Omnicell automation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Filling medication orders
- Delivering medications to patient medication rooms
- Managing and stocking pharmacy inventory
- Receiving daily warehouse orders and reconciling invoices
- Processing medication recalls
- Assisting with medication room audits
- Supporting the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations
