Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6+ months of IPU experience with demonstrated knowledge of IPU processes and workflows.
  • Ability to perform IPU responsibilities consistently and accurately while exercising sound judgment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a trusted resource for teammates and internal partners.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented approach with the flexibility to support changing operational and scheduling needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
  • Experience serving as a peer resource, trainer, preceptor, or informal team lead preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily IPU workflow and provide day-to-day guidance to help the team maintain service levels, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for IPU team members, answering process questions, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex concerns when needed.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing education while reinforcing established procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Partner with Education and IPU leadership to develop and maintain training materials and resources that support consistent team performance.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity trends, and operational performance to identify barriers, resource needs, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing coverage, and team communications to support operational continuity and workload management.
  • Step in during periods of increased volume, staffing shortages, or urgent needs to help maintain strong service levels and team effectiveness.
