About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Lead Pest Control Technician to oversee field operations and help grow our service team. This role is ideal for someone who already has experience in pest control, landscaping, construction, or another home service trade and is ready to take the next step into leadership. The Lead Technician will perform treatments, lead by example in the field, train new technicians, ensure service quality, and help optimize routes and operations. Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in pest control or a related field service industry preferred
  • Leadership experience managing or mentoring technicians
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in a physical, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to obtain or maintain pest control licensing (training provided if needed)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior licensed pest control experience
  • Experience running service routes or managing field crews
  • Background in landscaping, construction, lawn care, or home services
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for difficult pest issues
  • Experience training or onboarding new technicians
  • A leadership mindset with ownership of results

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional mosquito and pest control services to residential customers
  • Lead and mentor technicians while reinforcing best practices in safety and service
  • Perform detailed property inspections and determine proper treatment plans
  • Apply treatments using backpack sprayers, granular spreaders, and other equipment
  • Ensure service quality and troubleshoot treatment challenges in the field
  • Communicate clearly with customers to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Assist with route planning, scheduling efficiency, and daily field logistics
  • Maintain inventory, equipment, and vehicle readiness
  • Represent the Pest Hunters / Mosquito Hunters brand with professionalism and pride
