About The Position

Alter Trading is looking for someone to assist in the leading the daily operations of our Non-Ferrous Recovery Plant (NFR). This role assists a supervisor and is a step into a leadership role. Our NFR locations further process recycled materials to reduce what is sent to the landfills. This shift is Monday through Friday 6am-5pm and Saturday 6am - 3pm. Supports the daily operations of 5-7 employees to achieve department goals. Ensures employee break schedule is followed. Capable of learning and performing all job functions of the plant to help cover employee absences. Rotates employees to ensure coverage. Ability to operate mobile equipment and fill in as necessary. Leads the non-maintenance group during unplanned downtime. Collects and reports data during weigh outs. Leads the cleaning team during the maintenance cleaning hours. Performs Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

• Must have good communication skills and be a positive team player.
• Previous Leadership experience overseeing daily operations: 1 year
• Manufacturing: 1 Year
