About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role will lead and coordinate daily quarry operations to meet production, safety, and quality targets. The Lead Person will supervise and support equipment operators and plant personnel to ensure efficient workflow, monitor site conditions, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance. They will also schedule and prioritize work activities to optimize equipment utilization and productivity, and train, coach, and guide team members while promoting continuous improvement and teamwork.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team in a production environment
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational best practices
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting
• Working knowledge of quarry operations, mobile equipment, and production processes
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt to changing operational needs
