About The Position

Perform selected leadership duties of shift operations under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

Operations of gas-powered fork truck, a stretch wrap machine, and various hand tools
As required on a short term basis, run a packing machine, work at any of the three assembly positions, help load and unload company transfer trucks
Requires lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing, walking, bending, and stooping
Must have normal or corrected vision to 20/20
Must be able to hear fork truck horns and voice commands from other workers
Must be able to read and understand written schedules, labels, packing list, and company policies
Must be able to count and understand percentages
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Aid in employee work assignments
Determine who is absent, or not at a work station
Help set up machines or lines to run scheduled product
Assure that required production supplies are available and in the proper location
Aid machine operators or assemblers with any startup problems
Advise shift supervisor of any safety problems or unsafe acts
Aid in the collection of production data at the shift end
Keep the area clean
Other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor
