About The Position

Jockey International Inc is seeking a Lead Person - Special Projects & Returns for its National Distribution Center located in Mocksville, NC. This is a first shift position, Monday-Friday, 6:15 AM - 2:45 PM, with some mandatory overtime throughout the week and on Saturdays. The role involves steady work hours and physical activity. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Good communication, organization, problem solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Working Knowledge of WMS/PLM and inventory control systems.
  • Must submit Resume and/or Job History to be considered for this position.
  • Mandatory Overtime.
  • Must be able to push and pull boxes and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be willing to participate in a background check and drug screen.
  • All new hires will be asked to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory Control and/or accounting experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the receipt of incoming containers and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
  • Conducting inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Tracking re-operations and customer returns.
  • Coordinating projects for re-operations and returns.
  • Overseeing the department in the supervisor's absence.
  • Communicating with the transportation department on delivery schedules.
  • Assisting in the training of employees on WMS and other computer systems.
  • Developing and overseeing processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensuring customer returns are processed in a timely manner and meet customer deadlines.
  • Maintaining multi-stockrooms for receiving, reoperations, and customer returns.
  • Working with the quality department and haul/locate supervisors on unloading and delivery audits.
  • Coordinating shipments with outside vendors and contractors to complete reoperations.
  • Auditing the quality of projects and giving feedback to inhouse contractors.
  • Tracking and resolving problems concerning incoming shipments.
