About The Position

BJC is seeking a Lead Performance Improvement Consultant to support our Medical Group. This role partners closely with physician offices and clinics across the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, along with experience collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders. This is a hybrid position that requires being on site several days a week. Must be located in the Greater St. Louis area. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Develops and leads process improvement / transformation project and operations teams in order to accomplish measurable business results.
  • Responsible for contributing to the development of best practices and optimization of resources and tools within projects and across improvement efforts.
  • Mentors, trains and develops team members and employees in continuous process improvement methodologies and operational excellence practices.
  • Manages and has oversight for programs and team members related to: 6 Sigma, Lean, rapid improvement events and associated activities; Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis and tracking; Change management; Team facilitation; Data collection and analysis; Risk/Issue identification and mitigation; Stakeholder tollgates/reports.
  • Guides project teams and operation teams in conducting continuous improvement and process redesign projects using appropriate analytic and facilitation techniques as the situation requires.
  • Structures and conducts best practice research, process analyses, benchmarking and performance baseline measurement activities.
  • Responsible for expert level application and knowledge transfer of transformation core competencies.
  • Develops and executes work plans for strategic process redesign and performance improvement initiatives as well as responsible for expert level application and knowledge transfer of transformation core competencies.
