About The Position

This position is for a Founding Lead Pediatric Physical Therapist at Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy, focusing on building a new Youth Sports Rehabilitation & Performance program. The role involves developing services such as sports rehabilitation, return-to-play programming, injury prevention, movement analysis, and strength and conditioning for young athletes. The therapist will work with a collaborative team and have the opportunity to shape the program from its inception, combining evidence-based physical therapy with athletic development. The position also includes opportunities in outpatient pediatrics, early intervention (Babies Can't Wait), and telehealth.

Requirements

  • Licensed or eligible for Georgia licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Passion for pediatric physical therapy
  • Interest or experience in pediatric orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, biomechanics, or youth athletic development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem solver with a growth mindset
  • Interest in community outreach and program development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and shape a new pediatric sports rehabilitation and performance program.
  • Develop sports rehabilitation services.
  • Create return-to-play programming.
  • Design injury prevention programs.
  • Conduct running and movement analysis.
  • Implement speed and agility training.
  • Develop strength and conditioning programs for youth athletes.
  • Organize sports performance camps.
  • Lead community workshops.
  • Establish school and youth league partnerships.
  • Provide outpatient pediatric therapy.
  • Offer Early Intervention services through Georgia's Babies Can't Wait program.
  • Provide therapy in children's natural environments.
  • Conduct telehealth services.
  • Work with infants, children, and adolescents with various developmental diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, physicians, educators, and families.
  • Help children improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and participation in everyday life.
  • Engage in program development and community outreach.
