About The Position

Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking a professional, self-motivated, skilled cake decorator/baker to create dream wedding cakes for our Brides in a fun working environment. This person can adapt and learn quickly. This is a lead position ready to run and build his/her own team. Our ATL location is growing, and we are seeking somebody who is responsible and eager to grow with this company. Baking and cake decorating experience is an absolute must. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cake decorating experience
• ServSafe Food Handlers or equivalent
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Submit/complete background check
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Takes Extreme Ownership of their responsibilities
• Has a strong Attention to Detail
• Can clearly communicate with a team
• Is a Team Player
• Adaptable to the client’s needs

Nice To Haves

• Culinary degree preferred
• Passion for the Culinary Arts

Responsibilities

• Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
• Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
• Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
