About The Position

Cresco Labs is seeking a Lead Packaging Agent to join their team. This role involves executing assigned tasks, identifying and communicating errors, measuring, packaging, and labeling products, creating PWOs (Production Work Orders), understanding delivery schedules, prioritizing tasks, leading and motivating a team, collecting samples for quality testing, printing compliance labels, staging and exterior packaging, maintaining a sanitary work environment, safely transporting products, and ensuring all functions meet high standards of quality and compliance. The position requires working around plant material, which may involve exposure to pollen and dust, and the ability to sit, stand, kneel, and perform repetitive hand actions for extended periods. It also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.
  • Must have at least 1 year (2-3 years preferable) of hands-on experience in a factory, production or manufacturing fast-paced environment with measurable goals and working standards.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure.
  • Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications a plus.
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Executing tasks assigned by Management.
  • Detect errors and communicate issues to Supervisors.
  • Measuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by Management.
  • PWO creation.
  • Understanding of delivery schedule and how PWOs relate.
  • Prioritization of tasks based on PWO.
  • Lead & motivate team.
  • Collecting samples and performing tests to ensure quality.
  • Printing compliance labels.
  • Staging, exterior packaging, reading reports.
  • Maintaining a sanitary work environment.
  • Safely transport products from workspace to storage area.
  • Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance.
