This role is responsible for supervising the Outreach and Admissions Specialists team, ensuring that contract performance meets or exceeds US Department of Labor (DOL) and corporate OA performance goals. The position also ensures adherence to DOL and corporate regulations and requirements. The Lead Outreach and Admissions Counselor provides support and assistance as assigned by the OA/CTS Manager, supports project management of all Outreach and Admissions (OA) functions, and provides input to operational procedures in accordance with established standards and DOL Office of Job Corps requirements. This role involves overseeing and supporting the activities of Outreach and Admissions staff, including conducting weekly team conference calls and regular site visits to NEAP centers and outlying offices, which may require overnight travel. The position is responsible for meeting assigned placement goals monthly and assisting the OA/CTS Manager with contract reconciliation for various performance metrics. A key responsibility is developing and executing a strategic marketing campaign to increase community awareness of Job Corps and build strong referral and employer partnerships. The role acts as a primary liaison with Centers, negotiating and monitoring assignments to OA staff to ensure contract goals are met and students are served as prescribed. It also involves participation in state and local Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) and other community organizations, utilizing Data Center reports for analysis and corrective actions, and assisting with annual self-assessments. The position oversees the creation and maintenance of partner databases, reviews demographics of program inquiries, and assists in identifying resources for staff development and training. The Lead Outreach and Admissions Counselor provides weekly productivity reports and required Job Corps reports with accuracy and timeliness, and adheres to all guidelines, policies, and procedures set forth by DOL, OFCCP, Job Corps, and Insights Training Group, LLC, maintaining high levels of integrity, professionalism, and ethics. Participation in PRH mandated staff training, which requires travel, is also a requirement.
